Thanksgiving Break

The day after Thanksgiving I had every intention of hitting Silverdale for some holiday shopping. Instead, the day was spent at my parents’ house alternately chatting online, eating pumpkin coffee cake, and watching portions of Raising Helen, repeat, repeat, repeat. What a day! Later that night I invited mi prima Mia to come over with me to Seattle for a night of quality cousin time…or something.

A twenty minute ferry ride later, we went shopping for Christmas stuff at Target and went out for bubble tea and banana waffles at Pochie’s. The remainder of the evening we hung around the condo where I put Chrstimas lights up in my living room, decorated a stocking, and hung out with my roommate and Case. Stayed up way late too, a definite personal requisite of holiday breaks.

I heart snowmen.

Saturday morning Mia and I met up with the relatives at Super China Buffet (the usual) and to Battle of Seattle III to see my cousin Jessie girl perform. The show was pretty impressive. Thought a lot about my neglected abs during the performances, haha.

Later that evening, went with Kevin and Trevor to pick up Ryan Prins from airport. After some super-satisfying food at Applebee’s, I got to hang out with Ryan since he got back from Minnesota! Heart heart <3.

Sunday was spent in group meetings all day (and watching the Christmas Carol musical on NBC, hehe). Now back to finish off this bottom-heavy quarter. Can’t complain though, the last couple weeks have been pretty laid back awesome.
