Untitled #11

Keeping with the tradition of this quarter, here’s the weekend review! This weekend I…

  • Went home and hung out with my parents Friday night.
  • Hung out with Ryan Saturday night. He made beef stroganoff! We made strawberry shortcakes. I cut strawberries well.
  • Had d-d-diiiim sum at House of Hong on Sunday with the INFO crew. Yeah, way to go table of thirteen. Thanks to all you guys who came out. Hooray for shrimp ball variations.
  • Was invited by Val to celebrate Passover with her at the the Hillel Center for Jewish Life Sunday evening. It was sensory overload; my eyes kept wandering around the room to take everything in, while I tried to sing songs in Hebrew and simultaneously read the English translation. Not to mention trying to figure out what item on the Seder plate to touch and/or taste next. All this plus a little bit of wine on an empty stomach can be quite dizzying. For an event lasting over three hours, the entire thing flew by. Great food. Good discussion. The rabbis there really emphasized the event as a learning experience which was pretty cool.

Yup, and now onto this week of exams. But for now:
