Week 9 complete! It was a lot of school stuff crammed into three days, but I was able to get it done and still enjoy 24 season finale night, a steak dinner with Ryan, and Capoeira practice this week. WoOoo.. And now I’m sleepy.

There’s still two final papers (a cross-country econometric analysis on economic growth and a comparative literature review on the welfare state) and two final exams (for ECON 471 & 406) for me to tackle in the next two weeks before I’m through…but for now, as Jules pointed out to me this afternoon, I’m done with my very last midterm. More importantly, I received an e-mail from my prof about a class cancellation again — it looks like I won’t have to be in class until next Tuesday, haha.

Now suppose that the marginal utility of consumption is lower at higher levels of consumption. Thus the gain from winning the struggle for dictartorship is smaller. In turn, if the production function has diminishing marginal returns in capital stock, the “catch-up” from destroying a part of it during…

AGH! Am sitting here with yet another pile of economic readings thinking, “WOw, economists sure can be just…riveting.” Eh. I haven’t been up to speed with the blogging as of late, but nothing motivates me more to write online than academic-avoidance. (I kid.)

And for some reason, since I really want to see if I can complete this quarter’s “Weekend Review” trend, here we go: Last weekend was my bro’s 21st birthday at Super China Buffet, hanging out with Ryan, going to the Seattle Cheese Festival, and hitting The Pike for IUGA’s last member dinner. They were out of their signature Hefeweizen which brought me and Kevin much disappointment, but good times were still had. The weekend before that Ryan, Anthony, and I went to Wenatchee and stayed at Anthony’s parents house for the Apple Blossom Festival. There I met my new favorite weiner dog, got taken away by Wenatchee Mexican food, and discovered that Wenatchee isn’t half as small as Anthony makes it out to be. ;)

Alrightie. Much congrats to all the Informatics Capstone folks at last night’s event. Especially to the Open Agent team who presented. Not to mention our class looked hot. It was interesting to get back into Capstone-mindset to explain our project to the event’s visitors, my throat was dry by the night’s end. I’m just glad our poster ended up alright.

This entry is kinda random and lacking substance. Nothing else to really write about. Head is filled with the upcoming graduation, job searching, getting through these last couple weeks of ECON, and just taking advantage of what’s left of this quarter. It’s funny how relatively lax it has been. I mean, I have quarter-end crunch to face but man…I’ve had a lot of play time. What better time to enjoy it, no? I can honestly say I haven’t gotten this much sleep in years, haha. So yeah, spring quarter has been good. I just need to get through these classes.

And with that, guess it’s back to making sense of Przeworski and Limongi’s paper on modernization…or eating.
