Reflections of a Newbie

However, I will note that Metro Bus Route #43 is so sketch it could seriously deter me from attending class. In a span of 20 minutes, a man tried to have at my groceries, a crazy woman tried insisting she use my cell phone, two mentally ill people hobbled in circles around me, and a man ran up and stopped the bus from leaving the bus stop, only to ask the driver where the hospital was (as he was standing across the street from it). I like city life and all. But all within 20 minutes? Practically ran off the bus, thanking my driver, eager to be back on the street.

After icing my legs and talking with the roommate, I went out to the girls’ apartment for Sarah’s going away party. I showed up Tabert-style thee hours late ;). But it was good times just hanging out, drinking white Russians, and eating mini-quiche. Afterward we hit a bar up past 80th and played pool. Sorta. Happy Friday.
