Gosh It’s Late

Currently at my parents house in Port Orchard now; I fly out to Chicago tomorrow morning to to attend my cousin’s wedding and spend the weekend with relatives. After work today, Ryan and I had sushi for dinner. I’m a new fan of “the crunch roll” at Sushi Express. It has tiny rice crispy-like balls around the outside, with tempura shrimp, advocado, cucumber, and maybe crab meat in it. I don’t remember. I do remember that I ate one too many of them though (at the insistence of a certain tall someone).

Afterward I met up with David at the teriyaki joint by my place, where he graciously presented me with a Naruto CD to watch on the airplane tomorrow morning. Teresa soon came afterward and walked over to hang out at my place. Rather, David and Teresa hung out at my place while I finished up packing. David told us he goes fishing in WoW now. Taking a break, if you please. /me blinks

Then Frankie picked me up around 8 and we drove back to the PO. Once there, we dropped by the Taco Bell by the movie theater for some quick food. First off it was weird to be in that part of Port Orchard. Usually I spend my visits home outside of city limits near my house. It was weird seeing all the high school’ers from South swarming about place –16-year old girls all decked out as if they were going out clubbing. Yeah, Taco Bell in Port Orchard was always a happenin’ place at night. We left quickly.

After visiting my Lola at my aunt’s house, buying a new pair of sunglasses at Fred Meyer (left my other pair at Kat’s), I finally headed to my parents’ near 11PM. Hung out with them for a bit before moseying around the house when I suddenly remembered that my mom collects shoes.

I’ve been looking for shoes to go with my newly acquired set of dress pants off and on over the last couple months, but haven’t found anything really. Tonight at home though I remembered how mi madre (who has the same shoe size) has boxes and boxes of shoes, half of which she hasn’t even worn, around the house. I hadn’t paid much attention to this fact; I had last explored these boxes in junior high. The collection isn’t all entirely old too. In short, I now have four brand new pairs of dress shoes (3 black, 1 brown) in my posession. Hoorah.

Okay and now I’m really tired. And with that, here’s to Chicago
