Untitled #13

This morning was the second time in a row that I’ve awoken to a sharp pain in both my arms. At first, in my sleepy daze I would start to panic that I had been ambushed in the middle of the night which had left my extremeties incapacitated, only to begin whimpering at the realization that my attempts to rearrange my pillows and fall back asleep were futile, haha. Tuesday night’s Capoeira class involved lots of arm work, particularly push-ups, and my stick-like arms met their match. It’s not like a good type of sore too, it feels like I broke something. I’m so stiff in my triceps that I can’t even get my right hand to touch my right shoulder. And strangely enough, each day I wake up with it feeling worse! Ah, who knows. I guess my arms could use a bit of toning. But man, even scratching my nose has become a painful feat. Now moving on, haha.

So this week has been interesting, the most busy-body since this quarter began. With that in mind, I can’t really complain. Things have been rather laid back relative to the past couple quarters, which is fine, as it is my last. Tuesday I endured (yes, endured) four consecutive hours of econ exams and well, it sucked. I had forgotten how draining back-to-back midterms can be. Afterward it was three hours of getting the IUGA Quarterly printed and sent off with Trevor. The RSO office in the HUB sub-basement is pretty handy.

Later that night, I went out with Jules to Daniel’s Broiler on Fairview to unwind from the midterm madness. We had wine, bacon wrapped scallops, and fudge/banana bread pudding. Such good food. Finally got to use one of the gift certificates Ryan, Anthony, and I had received in December and soon regretted not having taken advantage of them sooner. They’re all expired now as of today.

Anyway, now I’m tired of writing and it’s time to get off work. So to wrap-up, the rest of the week has consisted of a lot of career stuff, poli sci stuff, and work stuff. Yay stuff! Bye!

I usualy find that a good stiff drink is just the thing for after those hard workouts. And before. And during. And in place of. Hmm, I’m starting to see where I’ve been going wrong all these years…
