Weekends Were Meant to Start on Thursday

Last night IUGA went out to dinner at Buca di Beppo’s. So it was good Informatics-cross-cohort’mingling-dinner-food stuffing-times. Yes.

Afterward some of us headed off to Jillians (how convenient!). So that was pretty awesome to have some drinks, a lot of bit of cheesecake, watch Kevin and Kat play pool, attempt to play pool, and hang out. Not a bad Thursday night out.

Just got back from the Last Supper Club! Jules and I went out with Kevin and Ashley to Pioneer Square where the cops were aplenty, (ah Mardi Gras weekend in Seattle). It was cool to go out for the night to go dancing. And with my roommate no less! It was good to finally go out with Jules. Last time I had gone to a club was in Vegas. Some highlights from the evening though include: getting into a conversation with a random girl in the bathroom who told me my new top was “really nice” (aw gee), the lurking “Hi! I just turned 21 and am in Pioneer Square alone”-guy that seemed to be everywhere we went, and having a shot with Ashley and Jules. Oh there was also this weird guy who tried getting my attention during the night and despite my shaking head grabbed my hand as I walked out the door. Eh, blah. And do you know how hard it is to close your tab in a club, where you can’t hear yourself, let alone explain to the bartender what your last name is…yeah. Good times! Thank you Kevin for the invite! I look forward to your blog (please?). And now to tomorrow, where I shall awake psuedo-early and take my practice-GMAT. Excellent.
